Default Fog light removal?

Was searching for threads via google site search on clublexus.com for instructions on removing 98+ fog lights on a SC300. Everytime I type just "fog" here on clublexus.com and try to search it just takes me back to the search.php page so I try to sift through the entire forum via "site:clublexus.com fog" google seach results.

I found a picture of the bottom of the car showing some bolts to take off to kind of flap open the undershielding of the car to gain access to the bottom of the fog light. I did that and turned the fog light back cap one quarter to the left per the instructions and tried to pull but it was a no go. I'm kind of doing this blind and can hardly see the back of the fog light. Is there another way to go about removing the bulb assembly and gaining a better view of the fog light itself? Would I have to removal the entire plastic shielding? I'm attempting to install a HID fog light kit and its a pain enough just trying to work through the flap on the bottom. Any insight as to removing the fog bulb assembly correctly and getting better access would be appreciate, a link to post would be fine. Please excuse any ignorance I may I have written, thanks for your time guys.

you can take them off with the bumper still on. i believe its 3 screws you can see them from the grill on the bumper. if not just feel around for them.

the visible one in front, theres 1 on top of the fog light, and theres 1 in opposite corner to the bottom of the first visible one...

1) visible one
2) top
3) diagonal corner to 1

hopefully that helps...and its a 8mm for all 3

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.

I found the most visible screw and the top screw. Can't find or feel for the last one though.

Passenger side seemed very feasible to work through the bumper opening though the driver's side on the other hand is a maze of piping, maybe auto tranny cooling and I wouldn't be able to get it out through there. Do you guys just remove the plastic shielding on the driver's side to get the job done?

Sure is a pain in the ***, the Supra is just so much more simpler

Thanks guys I'll just jack it up, pop the wheels and take off the splash guard. Have to put on the rims and paint the calipers anyways.
