Default Difficulty removing fog lights

I purchased some LED fog lights to replace the halogen fog lights on my 2011 IS350. The fog light bulb size for the 2011 IS350 is H11. I removed the fender liner on both the driver and passenger side to get access to the fog light assemblies.

I thought removing the fender liner would be the hardest part but it wasn't. I'm having difficulty removing the fog light bulb assembly only from the driver side. I'm trying to turn it counter clockwise to remove it but it's not coming out when I pull.

On the other hand, the passenger side fog light bulb assembly came out really easily when I turned it counter clockwise!

Has anyone had trouble getting the fog light bulb assemblies out when replacing their fog lights? Any advice? Thanks!

I had the same issue, I had to unplug the connector first, it seemed like the connector wouldn't let it turn far enough to be removed..

Dirt and grime can build-up over time keeping it from fully rotating. But you're doing it right...counterclockwise, and pull out. This is assuming that the bulb is the correct bulb in it and that it wasn't forced in previously.

Good luck!

It worked! I pressed the tab on the connector to unplug the connector from the bulb. I was then able to turn the bulb counter clockwise to take it out.

Thank you three for the help!
