IPhone 4s Bluetooth connection problem for playing music
My previous iPhone 4 worked fine. I bought a new iPhone 4s. Now I have no problem connecting the phone to Bluetooth. However, when I try to play music or audiobook from the iPhone and connect the player on Bluetooth, the car says it cannot connect and it asks for me to configure the player. Before getting the new iPhone 4s, the music iTunes player played through Bluetooth with no problems. Im very discouraged. Any thoughts?

Since I've got a new RX and a new iPhone 4s at about the same time, I'm not sure which to blame. The other night my wife and I met out of town I picked her up and we went to dinner and then took her back to her car. As we got there I received a call we both wanted to listen to. My wife decided to remote start her car and her car started stealing the phone connection. My phone is registered (paired) to her car.
So was my RX relinquishing the connection or was her car stealing it. I could get it back by picking my RX in the sources window of the iPhone, but her car would steal it again.
If I rememder correctly this may of happened once on my previous RX too.
So who's fault Apple or Lexus?? Bluetooth music does seem to take an extra step now, especially going back to the phone.

I'll add another problem. I have been able to play music successfully from my Iphone 4s bluetooth.
however, as soon as I change the mode to FM or USB, the phone is disconnected and will not connect back until I switch off/on the car

iPhone4 Disconnect
I have a similar problem. If I am listing to a podcast and then use the dialing feature on my steering wheel the iPhone disconnects following the call. I can make voice activated calls from the phone only. Also is I switch from a podcast to a playlist then back it also disconnects. There must be a firmware update somewhere.
