1000 Mile Service
Had the 1,000 mile service on my RX330 today. On a scale from 1-10, I rate the dealer a 9. Main reason - permanent tags put on-forgot to give me the registration. Had to go back. Lucky I checked before I got home-90 miles away.
Was told it would be about 1/2 hour, and it was, the car was washed and vacuumed (real wash, not just spray with water). So far, I am extremely pleased with the dealer, Lexus of Wilmington (DE). The sales experience was a pleasure, and they will pick up and deliver the car for service, and leave me a loaner.
Love my Lexus!!!

Same here, I just picked up my car from the 1000 mile service. There was nothing wrong with the car so it passed with flying colors. The only problem I have and I'm having my dealer look into a solution is the trunk hatch spoiler touches very slightly the body when the metal and plastic is hot. This causes a squeeking noise at the plastic spoiler rubs the body. This only happens when the car is hot so I as well as the dealer thinks the heat expends the metal and plastic causing the rub. I've noticed this on the test drive RX they had as well but that car is always in the sun. In my case, it will never happen if the weather is cool or the car is in the shade, but only when the car is in the sun for a while. You can see very light scratches on the hatch spoiler and body where it touches but it is so light it it only very light clear coat scratches. The dealer will inquire with Lexus to see if there is a solution. I myself have a crude solution that will not damage the paint but some might not want to do that to their new Lexus to I won't bother posting it. Let's just see if Lexus will come out with a TSB to fix the problem.

Infiniti's FX has the same problem
I read over at the Fresh Alloy boards that some FX owners are experiencing a hot weather phenomenon where the spoiler expands and rubs against the body, causing superficial damage. Interesting....
