Found a source for transponder keys
I am not sure whether these work but I ordered a transponder couple of days ago from this site. Lets see if its worth the money.
Hope this is helpful to someone who needs a cheap transponder chip.

Being the <polite cough> "frugal" person I am...bought mine for even less off of eBay, had them keyed by a locksmith and they work perfectly.
Just an FYI: The keys I ordered on eBay for my daughter worked because she took 'em somewhere and found the transponder couldn't be programed...so paid the big bucks for OEM. I found that out because she didn't want to hurt my feelings...

Unfortunately this is as 'frugal' i can be, here in Australia. I checked the price for a second hand transponder key and they want me to pay about USD 100.
