Calling all 2nd Gen RX owners with Panoramic sunroof option
Am I the only one in LA??? Looking for others to find feedback on the maintenance of any , of these big sunroofs. I anticipate I'll have to get new deals at some point or the motor might go south. Any preventative maintenance to these? 107k on the car.

No, I don't play soccer!
The multiple moonroof package is pretty rare. The only time I've seen one was at a Lexus event 10 years ago. I got to drive it. Really cool. I imagine keeping the tracks clear is important. Hopefully somebody else has a similar RX to give some tips.

Meant to say Bueller
But yes, agree, the cars are a dime a dozen but in the time I've owned her I've never seen another. Pretty interesting and will definitely get on the short ladder to clear any debris and keep it clean. The window does rattle over bumps a bit but it is well worth the extra roof air space 10000% would love to see another on the forum so we can exchange experiences. No leaks and still going strong for a 2004. So will see when this changes!

Pole Position
I've been on this forum for a few years now, and your's is the first one I've ever seen, even in pictures. It seems that that option was limited model years and california only.

Stock tire size on xxr551 18x8.75 +22mm offset, stance is just a bit wider than stock, and although the rim is a tad wider, the tires are still OEM size so doesn't mess with my speedo.

I'll have to dig out my 2004 RX brochure to show all the package details. It was one of four or five available back then. No roof rails or cross bars either. It's all glass up top. Performance package came with the air suspension, had it on my 330. It was nothing to write home about. PP represented about 5% of all RXs. The multi moonroof package was probably much less than that. I've only seen it at a Lexus driving event. And I think those cars were brought in from CA. Hmm, it was silver so I know there's at least one more out there, LOL!

Wow didnt realize how rare of a bird she is. Feeling luckier everyday. Just hope I can find a dealer who can do maintenance in case of any problems or even getting new seals. After all she is turning 12years old soon. Still going strong

Thanks Anita. The RX aka Tyota Harrirr is named after the Harrirr eagle ... The multi panel sunroof when open really accents the design starting from the headlights that are shaped in an Eagles profile to the open roof which layers to the back ending with the rear top spoiler. It just works.amd in my opinion is one of LEXUSs' timeless designs.

im not an envious guy.....
but holy ****...
also, check out WELL ViSORS on ebay..they are a jdm replica...not trying to promote. I bought one myself but took a lot of time to research before buying because I think this is the only jdm copy out there. it's only $50 shipped or so.
