Pimp my 2004 RX330
I've owned my RX330 since its early release in 2003. It has 196,000 + miles, but I'm not ready to get a new car, so I want to give my car the major overhaul it needs.
I read through the 2nd generation RX thread, but a lot of the posts are older, so I'm looking for new advice.
Things I'm looking to do:
-New Paint
-iPhone integration
-upgraded audio
-headlights are foggy (have the Xenon)
-tints
What else should I look for the make my car look really good?
Are there any other cosmetic things to look at?
Any mechanical mods to look for?
Thank you in advance for your help!

I've put a Thundercloud grille on mine and think it looks great. Also planning on black gloss vinyl wrap for my roof (racks are off) and tinting front windows. Possibly painting the rims F-Sport color.
I also replaced almost all the interior bulbs with white LEDs as well as parking light and back up lights. Oh, and license place bulbs too.
Also running weapon-r intake (mixed feelings about this one) and planning on adding an upgraded sway bar.
Might replace the stock resonator with magnaflow muffler, but this is the last resort.
I think that's it

Personally I would not put anymore money into a 200K miles car, a decent new paint job cost at least a few large, unless you go to Maaco.......... But that's just me.

I agree with the two posters above. I wouldn't put more money into the car than it is worth. Same thing with repairs...if the repair is more expensive than the value of the car, junk it and get a new car. Tint, iPhone, Headlights, are all cheap and I say go for it. But paint is uber pricey, and so is audio. At most I would add a sub. I have a 12" kicker sub and kicker amp but that is all I added to my audio...Sounds just fine and I can easily take it out and put it in my next car. I have actually had the same amp and sub in my TL, Prius, X3, and now RX. I think I got my money worth.

Since I didn't see anyone mention anything about the easiest fix requested, I will. As far as "foggy headlights" (I assume you mean the housing is foggy/yellowed), I use Kit brand Scratch Out! and it works great. This is available at many different stores for about $5 not just auto stores (I got mine at Krogers of all places). Anyway, just shake it up, squirt some on a soft dry cloth (e.g., microfiber) and apply in a circular motion using heavy pressure to your housing. Then let it dry (about 10 mins) and buff off with another soft dry cloth. It may take more than one application depending on how bad the housing is but when finished, it should look like new. Good luck!

I agree with jakenbake and everyone else about not putting too much money in. Although if you were to ask me 10 years ago, I'd say put all your money into it.
A cheap and easy mod that does a lot in the way of appearance would be to plastidip your wheels and badges. While I have zero experience with this personally, it seems very easy and is 100% removable which is always good come resale time.
Here are some random examples I've found online and instagram:

If you want to fix your car up, do it. The links in my sig are some of the things I've done to mine, some appearance, some comfort. The NAV link turned into an ongoing discussion with several different installs, pay attention to that one.
There have been a lot of advances in head units since then with a lot of them further integrating with the iPhone. Most will allow you to run apps on the HU.
Have fun and make a thread so we can watch your progress Good luck!
