New to the family, confused
I just bought a 2008 rx350 and realised that the rear end doesn't have the rx350 letters on the right side. It says LEXUS on the left side, but when I look at all the other 2008 models for sale.....everyone has rx350 letters on the right. Did I make a huge mistake?

Some just remove them. A little goobegone and some floss and they pop right off. It may be as simple as a character fell off in a carwash or whatever and rather than buying the whole kit they just removed the rest.
Have a body shop check for signs of repair.

Open your bonnet and look at the engine covering. If it says 3.3 then it's a 330 otherwise if it says 3.5 it's a 350. Wouldn't you have had the car checked out before purchasing it?
You should also be able to open the driver's door and there should be a sticker in there advising manufacturing year etc. etc.
I bought my RX330 and after a few weeks then realised that I only have the L badge. I had the car checked out previously and no accident damage so mine was just removed.

You should register the car at the Lexus Owner's website. The complete Lexus service history of your vehicle will be there as well as any warranty work or recalls. You will need the VIN to complete the registration. The website will also provide the info you are asking about.

I don't think a single badge missing is cause for concern. There are lots of folks, as mentioned above, that "de-badge" their cars or trucks on purpose. They claim it is a cleaner look. Whatever.
If you think it is not a 2008 RX350 then running the VIN number will tell you all. In fact, your insurance company will tell you what it is when you give them the VIN number.

I already registered on the site with the VIN and it is a 2008 RX350. Thank you all!
