Tire tread wear
I measured my tread depth and discovered that the depth on the right side (both tires) was 6 mm while the depth on the left tires was 7 mm. The tires are Bridgestone Dueler Alenza 235/55 18s.
Tires are of unknown age as car was purchased used 9 months ago, but tread depth was fairly even.
75% of my driving is on crowned 2 lane roads with a 55 mph limit.
Why would tires wear faster on one side of the car than the other? I find it hard to imagine that the weight shift from road crown could do this.
Another question: can these tires be cross rotated? There is no directional arrow on them, so they likely can. It would solve this wear issue.
Any ideas? Or maybe I just have too much time on my hands.

Band, I have the same Bridgestone Alenzas on my FWD RX330. Have not seen that problem. However, I do rotate the tires in the following manner:
When in doubt, listen to Pat Goss:
Were your measurements consistent across each tire?
- Driver Front to Driver Rear
- Passenger Front to Passenger Rear
- Passenger Rear to Driver Front
- Driver Rear to Passenger Front

Here is how you can find out how old the tires are.

I don't have any ideas as to why the tires would wear unevenly like that though. Perhaps lack of rotation at some point in time?
Bridgestone Dueler Alenzas are bidirectional tires, so yes you can cross rotate the tires, which should help the uneven wear you're experiencing.
