Rx330 power lift gate woes
just recently bought a low miles 77k 2004 rx. Well today my wife picked me up from the train station I hit the button to close the rear latch I got nothing no noise beep, nothing. What could it Be. I called the dealership since it's with in 30days. They already replaced the power rack steering.

Not that know of, we dropped it off earlier this week so they could fix the power steering rack which it Failed safety inspection due to it. They also fixed the glovebox latch, may be something got disturb? Now I have this issue.
I tried the fob and the button on the dash.

Let me go check and confirm, Im pretty sure they all work.
And I didnt know that disconnecting the battery can cause power options to be reset. This is good to know

Hope you figure out your liftgate. That is frustrating. Our liftgate does not open by hand and we require the remote control... for some reason it doesn't open on it's own and needs to be forced....

Is there anything I can check other then mentioned so far, Im pretty mech incline we have an is300 which I maintain and my 1995 impala ss. I dont mind getting my hands dirty just need to direction since this car is new to me.

That steering rack repair is expensive. It sounds like you have a 30 day agreement with the dealership to fix anything that is wrong? Maybe you should get them on it before it's to late. We would just be making a guess. My thinking is a bad motor.

Well the replaced the steering rack and glove box. Almost 2k in parts in labor, but no door.
Im on the hook for this, not that upset. I just need to figure out what the heck happened. It worked then it just stopped. Has this symptom happened to anyone else?

Did you perform a continuity check on fuse #4 inside the engine bay to make sure it is good?

I did not check the fuses, I will check this eveing with my test light. I can hear the power door latch grapper thingy once you close the rear latch. I just get no sign of life from the power lift gate when you activate it.
