Just traded in my old friend 04 RX330 (71 K miles) for the Acura ZDX (10.5 K miles). The RX was my first Lexus that so wow me with it's classy interior that I eventually went on and bought the IS350 then SC430. Besides the regular maintenance, I swap out the front and back brakes and a set of tires. Never had any mechanical issue with the car (except for the rear window molding that peeled off on a high way that some of the folks here also have). Even the original battery has not died after 8 years. And, I already have plans for which battery to buy when the time is up.

The wife was looking for a kind of unique car like the SC430 so the ZDX fulfill the bill - Love/Hate it kind of design and not many on the road. Was contemplating a couple of times of upgrading to the newer RX but felt that it was not that much of a difference to pull the trigger.

Nice to see the 2nd gen RX has many new members. Lastly, thanks to all the members who takes the time to write up DIYs and help answer questions which helps out a lot. Happy driving to all

Didn't want to bring back old thread (just want to blow off steam), but the new ride just got keyed. Happened to my 04 RX also when we first got it back in 04 and not to many was not out at the time. Now, just got the car for a little two weeks and some friggin coward keyed my ZDX. Will have to bring it in for insurance estimate to see what kinda of damage I have to pay out of pocket. Sucks

Oh wow... That's just terrible. It is just truly unbelievable sometimes how people can do things to others property. All we can hope for is karma will return the favor 10 folds. Sorry to hear about this but good luck with the repair.
