DONT BELIEVE THAT FOR A MINUTE!!!!!!!!! I only get 16 mpg now during the winter. What the Hell am I going to get with the winter blend crap, plus E15??? I guess I`ll have to trade it in on a new car then,I cant afford anything lower than 16-17mpg`s.
My RX is quickly coming up on its 8 year anniversary on August 1. At the moment I see no reason to trade-in or upgrade. However, when I find something, perhaps even a little smaller, that is getting 40+ MPG on the highway and 30+ MPG in the city I might look to make a change. Even a plug-in hybrid might be worth a look.
Making a change before those numbers are reached would not be cost effective, IMHO. Why would I want a new car payment just because the price of gas has gone up, and especially if there is nothing wrong with my current ride?
