08 RX350 issues, error code P2195
I was driving and all at once, the check engine light came on along with the VSC off (blinking) and the light with the swerving car at the bottom (please don't laugh at me, I am not able to pull out the manual and find the name for the light, lol).
So I went to Auto Zone and they pulled P2195 and the error code came up twice.
Can anyone give input on this? We are military, my husband is gone and I am not in the position to fork $800 over to Lexus to find/fix the problem. There is an Auto Hobby shop on our base that will do reasonable repairs if we are able to give a synopsis on what needs to be done.
Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to have to drive my husband's Jeep until he gets home and garage mine

No, I don't play soccer!
When my O2 sensor went, about four lights on the right side came on. It happened after I had my car serviced. Apparently the tech failed to make some kind of modification. Yours should be covered under warranty based on the year. I'd schedule an appointment with a dealer. Good luck.

It's my understanding that if the vehicle is registered in California a 8 year, 80,000 mile emission warranty will apply to the O2 sensor. Live elsewhere, you are SOL.

First check the warranty. If you have a nearby Lexus dealer you can go there and ask them for the symptom as well as the estimate for repair. If you are confirtable with the repair bill, go for it. It is the safest way. If you are not comfortable with the repair bill, you can take the estimate and go away. Then go to a reputable independent car repair shop to get a second opinion.
Technically, P2195 - (02 sensor stuck lean) doesn't awalys mean the sensor is bad. It caused by a air leak in the intake or something else. There are many cases that after O2 sensor is changed the same symptom comes back. So dianosing/testing the O2 sensor is necessary. I remember that one member paid $800 for a lexus dealer for a questionable O2 sensor issue but finally found that the problem is not O2 sensor.
Good luck!

1st see if under warranty, if not and you have a hobby club on base and are concerned with cost have them swap bank 1 and bank 2 oxygen sensors before converter and clear codes. if code returns for bank 2 oxygen sensor is faulty. If code returns for bank 1 than I would think intake leak is causing leanness .

I know it may be a long shot. But you can almost guarantee to get all the lights on if you dont tighten the gas cap. It happens almost every time my kid puts gas in the car.
Also you dont have to stop driving the car. Becuase a light came on.
