New(to me) RX350 w/ pics and question on missing covering
Hello all, I've been a lurker for quite a few years and have just purchased my second Lexus. It is an AWD '08 RX350 in Flint Mica with a black interior. Its pushing 42k miles and is definately a used car (it has a few dings in the paint and on the wheels), but its much nicer than my old '95 ES and the navigation is great.
I've got a question on where to find a replacement cover for part of the cargo rack. I noticed it missing when I was inspecting the car at the dealer. It wasn't a big deal at the time (and still isn't), but I'd like to get a replacement cover. I've been calling junk/salvage yards in my area and no one has a second generation RX. What other options do I have? What is the part even called? Thanks for any help.
An overall shot of the car in the parking lot of my apartment complex.
I really like the wood grain in the interior. I think these panels have a particularly nice figure.
A far out shot of the missing covering/facade.
A close up of the area. Does anyone know what its called so I can start a search for one?
Thanks for any help and for reading this far.

probably what's called rear cover left in the illustration in the link below. Nothing $42 can't fix...

Yeah I had mine break off and then I lost it while driving one day. Ended up costing me about $120 from the dealership to replace it (no one else here in Australia had them except for Lexus obviously).

lexus114, those tires are Falken Ziexes. They came with the car and seem to be doing ok for the moment. I don't really notice bad road noise (nor have much to compare it to), but I don't really see buying them again when they wear out. The treadware is very low on them (300) so I don't see getting too many miles. They look to have a performance pattern to them as well, which really doesn't suit my driving style. I will probably go with Bridgestone Alenzas (sp?) which I've heard good things about on here.
mandyfig, thanks. I'm really pleased with the color as well!
