I don't know what causes the creaks, but if you Google "Lexus RX Creak" you will find multiple sources talking about that. My dealer removed my dash and insulated it and it IS better MOST of the time. But it still creaks at times. Have not had it long enough to be able to tell if heat or cold or some other factor aggravates the condition. Truthfully I am not THAT picky and play the radio most of the time anyway and it's not that bad. So I am living with it and actually don't even notice it now (unless I remind myself to do so). I also have a 2007 LS460 and there are all sorts of complaints about wind noise yet I don't notice that either. Maybe I need a hearing aid, but it's not a big enough deal to get my shorts in a knot over.

Ok guys, I went ot the dealship yesterday and here is what I found out. The creaking or squeaking I heard was not from the dash but from the sunroof. I guess their are materials in there that rub on each other or something. They have to take down the headliner and all to fix it, which will probably take a whole day. I'm schedule for next week and they will drop off a loaner at my work and take my car. Once its fixed, they will bring the car back to my work and take the loaner back.
They also replaced either the entire headlight or parts of the headlight due to condensation. Everything is covered due to the CPO warranty.
The only problem I had was the chips in the wheel. Because the wheels were custom chromed with black chrome, and nobody does this type of work in my area, my dealership has no one to go to to fix this or re-chrome the wheel. So I guess I will just have to live with it.
Overall, it was a great experience. The service consultant was very helpful and the service tech was very knowledgable. Plus, free food and wi-fi is always nice.
For any of you guys with the creaks or sqeaks, see if a service tech will check the sunroof as this could be the cause.

What kind of tires did they put on your RX330? I started out with Goodyears and complained so much about vibration that they swaped them out for Goodyear 235/55 on 18" rims. Still don't like the road noise from these tires!
Does anyone have a suggestion for 2005 RX 330?

I think you did real good. I bought mine (06 RX330) new; however it was my last new Lexus, I plan to pick up a three or four year old the next time around, because these vehicles are solid. I have had mine for 4 years and it is like brand new..........I would be proud to pick one of these up for what you paid!
