Full Time Power Outlets mod?
Just out of curiosity, has anyone re-wired the fuse box to allow power outlets be on all the time? And if so, what are the steps?
I did re-wire mod in my 4Runner, but can't locate the same power outlet relay on RX330. Here is the info regarding the 4Runner:

I have a Coleman electric cooler that I would like to keep on when I turn off the key, and my Garmin GPS re-boots every time I stop for gas.

Is your Garmin plugged? My Mio goes to internal power when I shut down the power. So, it is on all the time, until I turn it off. Or the internal battery shuts down if in need of charging.

Be careful about this because I managed to completely drain my battery when I accidentally left a large Li-ion battery charger on while I took a nap. Killed the battery in about an hour, I did! Maybe it is a good idea to have everything go off with the key when you get out of the car. (I'd left the key on . . . D'oh!)

I read the post as engine OFF but the key in ACC [power on].
Not knowing the wiring, the easiest solution is to
existing + wire [ cut and put a series diode P, other end N] -> CigLighterCenter
+ from the battery [series new fuse] -------------------------| (merge up)
The idea is to merge direct 12v with a protection diode in existing to prevent back flow.

The Garmin SP 7500 does not have a battery. The 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee I just sold gave you an option. It had about 5 or 6 plugs with two in the front. One plug stayed on with the key turned off and the other one shut down, I don't remember what the other plugs did.

Sitting at the wheel on a remote location, I sat in the car during a long break, starting and idling the engine for fifteen minute intervals to top up the batteries charging on the 110v port. At some point I turned off the engine, but I failed to rotate the key fully to the "off" position. Ordinarily that would be no problem, but the inverter was powering a charger with five large (dead) Li-Ion batteries attached. I'd been up for about 30 hours at this point and went to sleep for about an hour while my battery packs continued to charge.
I plan not to do that again, but a heavy power demand with the engine off could leave you stranded somewhere. Powering the inverter directly from the battery would make it even easier to make this mistake. I am looking a purchasing a large capacity inverter to run separately that incorporates an automatic shut-down should the vehicle battery run too low.

I installed the jumper wire in the attached link but after about a week both the cg lighter and the accessories port ceased to function. I checked the fuses and both are good does anyone know if an other inline relay may have been damaged?

Funny ford has always allowed a hot circuit with ignition off. My battery in the F150 is 8 1/2 years old and has never had a problem, granted it is a huge battery...But the real culprit above was leaving the ignition in the accessory position which keeps a lot of things alive.
