Default Power outlet issues.

Hi all,

I need help with correcting the three power outlets on a 2004 RX330. The front upper power outlet is not working (no voltage) but fuse is good. The bottom one and the rear one share the same fuse (under dash driver side) and it is good. No voltage present at these outlets either. However there is power at the fuses. I have disconnected the outlets and check the power cables connectors. No voltage! So there is a break somewhere between the fuse and the outlet connector.

I need:

1. circuit diagram for the power outlets, atleast from the fuse onward.
2. location of the accessories relay.

Thanks.

theres a power outlet (cigarette lighter outlet) under the main one in the floor box, that's connected to the ones in the back, so if that works then the ones in the back work as it's the first one in line. it's very strange that the main cigarette lighter is out and the fuse to be good, maybe just run a new wire from the fuse to the power outlet. try Chiltons for the wiring diagram.

hello,
I am following this thread about no outlet power, I have replaced the 75 and 76 15 amp low profile mini fuses near steering wheel but still have no power to any of the interior outlets. Will it replace the 20 amp Power No. 2 fuse under the hood, after that, I am out of ideas. Any suggestions?

The 20a Power outlet #2 fuse under the hood is for the optional power inverter which came with the rear seat entertainment package. It is a separate circuit from the 12v outlets. Do you have a rx330, 350, or 400h, and which year? I can get a wiring diagram for you. So none of the 2 front or 1 cargo area outlets work? Have you tried multiple devices, not just a phone charger? I've had the car phone chargers do weird things like work on one vehicle and not another and work with one phone and not another.

I have a 2007 400h, I will check other chargers to see if there is any power to anything on all 3 of the non functioning power outlets. Thank you for the response and the info, look forward to the wiring diagram.

I don't know about the numbers 75 & 76 for the fuses by the steering wheel. But here is a photo of the cover with the 2 fuses that power the outlets marked. Maybe this might help?

Thanks for the help. As it turns out, changing the fuses did work. Unlike other vehicles I have (MB SUV), the power outlets on my 2007 RX 400H, work only when the ignition is on. Not that great for camping, but great news for regular driving, I can now charge or use my devices while tooling about.
