marks on 400h
I have no problem with fading however i have never had a vehicle that marked so easily in the foot well area near the brake and gas pedal and at the threshold of the door. It does not clean off. I am in the interior cleaning business with an incredible range of chemicals at my disposal and i am having a hard time removing some of the marks in these areas. I love the 400h and this is a small complaint in the scheme of things and im sure there is a solution out there. My dealer has offered to detail the inside at no charge and i will take him up on that at some point, what i really want is to be there when the work is done so i can see what they are using. Some of the things i used in a very small area removed the marks but were too harsh for the plastic surfaces. I have not used anything abrasive.

If you were here in Austin, I would have given you the name of a business who mend and texture and paint vinyl. Ask the dealer and they may reccomed one to you.
UV is a killer, so protect the dash with a silver screen when parked even in hazy days. The other simpler option is to park in a way that sun does not hit the dash. I never use any rub-on chemicals like armorall etc as I am not sure of the long term effects.
Scuff marks are from your shoes. Material used in Lexus can be a problem but most probably it is the force of the rub is the real culprit. It might be worth observing how it happens and how it can be
minimized.
