Window weatherstrip warp question
When I roll up my front door windows, they warp the weatherstripping slightly and cause road and wind noise to become very noticeable. If I roll the window down slightly the weatherstripping returns to its "normal" state and the noise goes away. Others on this forum have documented the same problem. I have an 05 AWD RX 330. I plan to take it in for it's first oil change in the next few weeks and have this window problem looked at. My question: has anyone else with this problem had success in getting it fixed? What was done to correct this problem?
I have checked alldata.com for a TSB on this issue and found none. Also my nearest lexus dealer is 180 miles away and I do not have the time to make multiple trips there to get this fixed.
Thanks for any help.

This is a known problem. It has been discussed here several times. Do a search on "window" and you'll find a few threads. There is a TSIB on this issue. Look here for a starter:
