DIY 2005 RX330 Mudguards pictures......

This is about 2 years ago and the mudguards have satisfied their original intent. Keep crap off the paint. This is a mod worth investing on and the mudguards look OEM, that's the cool side of it.

OE Mudguard Availability
Searched for the OE 0841448820 mudguards that unfortunately are discontinued. What's still available are what looks to be Chinese repops of the factory pieces.
In the photos if you look thru them all for authenticity the rears seem to cover up more body paint than OE and look more addon style.

Has anybody seen real Lexus OE mudguards lately or has anyone used the copies that they could possibly share their fit?
Or Is it possible to use the 3rd gen still available and slice out the pinch weld frame rail?
FWIW; This was supposed to it's own new post somehow a Forum moderator chose to add this to a very old thread. Since then the 18yr old post mudguards are disc. and the thread isn't relative today but hey, post a reply if you have new relative news
Thanks for any replies

I have had the aftermarket Chinese ones on my car for a year now and have been pleasantly surprised. No cheap plastic smell, very sturdy and look like they belong on the car!
