Hid Fogs
Hi,
Just got my 2005 RX330 two weeks ago, and finally put in the HID fogs today, the HID kit I got is manufactured by Toyota (Factory) with rebased 9006 4300K bulbs.
I reached the fogs from the bottom of the car, the driver side itsn't bad, but the passenger side is pain in the ***. with headlamp washer thingy in the way, i don't have much room to work with especially with HID bulb/HID ballast in my hand. But it's finally done.

Thanks for your time
Pick my car up last Saturday. Black Forest Pearl, Navigation/Mark Levinson, tow package, 18" Michelins, Rain-Sensing Wipers. Order it at the end of October and it came from Japan

The ballasts says Toyota, made in Japan. And when I was installing it, it looks exact the same as the one for my headlights.

It's been raining these days in Vancouver, I will try to take a few pics at night when the rain stops, so you can see how the fogs light up the ground.

What are the advantages of putting HIDs in the fog lights? I know that HIDS as high beams are not recommended, but is it an improvement in lighting for the fogs or would it be better just to get yellow fogs?

HID Highbeam (retrofit) lights are not recommended because of the warm up time needed for these bulbs.
