Default Rear wheel bearing replacement, part numbers?

Hi all,

long time ago, I followed suggestions on this board, and replaced front wheel bearing https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...ocal-shop.html

Now, it comes to rear. This time is more confusing, because I can hardly find the part number for rear wheel bearing. My local shop gives me one from NSK:90369-30883, ebay has another two from NSK: 90369-43008, 90369-38019. Which one is correct?

For AWD, is the rear wheel bearings the same as front? I can not find the part number from Timken.

Do I still need Deflector?
Do I need wheel seal?

Thanks,
Leo

Its not a fun job, so replace what you can while you are in there. Definitely replace the seals.

Here is a great write up on the bearing R&R.

Thanks for reply. One workshop want 600 (4 hours labor) for the work. Is it fair?

If you are not handy, you can expect to pay around 250-500 per wheel. If you are handy, you can DIY it for a lot less. You can pull the hub and have a shop press the bearings for $50 each side plus parts or buy a press from harbor freight for $130 shipped and do it yourself. Thats what I did. I have used the press for more jobs now that saved me from paying a shop to do. If I had to say which tool I had bought that not only paid for itself but paid dividends over time, it would be the 12 ton press. It makes it less painful to buy OEM parts when you dont need to pay somone to do the work.
