Default Noise at idle

First up I want to say hi to everyone on this forum. I am new to lexus ownership as of last week with a 1st Gen rx. A 1999 with 174k miles, driven in the depths of downtown Chicago it entire life. I purchased the vehicle from a woman who thought it was going to explode. She gave me an amazing deal on it not knowing it's problems. It turned out the VVTi solenoids were bad and it was an easy fix for me as I wrench for a living. Today I replaced a rear wheel bearing, rear diff oil, engine oil, trans and front diff. Ever since I first got the rx I noticed only at idle there is a slight whine on the top end. Reminds me of a bearing in a pully. This sound goes away with any throttle applied at all. It sound's like it's coming from the valve train, front bank, to the left when facing the engine. I will make a video tomorrow and put it to youtube, but does anyone have any experience with a sound like this? Also, I'm going to do the valve covers, what else would you guys and gals do while I was in there? Plugs are an obvious one, anything else? Also I was thinking about the front end 10piece kit from Detroit Axle on ebay, any stories of best parts to use? The previous owner by the looks of it, just put a new alternator, battery, drive belts, and..... Timing Kit! They painted the car all white pearl instead of two tone and there's a little damage here and there any good sources for body parts? I couldn't believe I got this for 800, I'm hoping the top end whine isn't fatal. Thank you in advance.
