Default Huge thanks to this forum!

Hello and thanks to everyone that has contributed to this forum. I have completed a lot of repairs (with your help) on a 2001 RX300 that I had recently inherited.

Repairs completed to date include: water pump/timing belt replacement (all belts and hoses), heater servo, mode servo, center panel display unit, MAF sensor cleaning, knock sensors (w/tune-up), 4 door lock actuators, driver’s side power window relay, antenna mast replacement and most recently I replaced the O2 sensors. It was so bad for a while that I just left my OBDLink MX permanently plugged in so I could easily see the next error code. Now it is clean!!!!

Some of these on-line purchased OEM parts were a bit expensive, but look at my savings in labor. Plus, I love any excuse to get out in my garage, play with my extensive tool collection, drink beer and turn up the stereo.

At 126,511 miles I can’t help to wonder what I’ll be working on next, but with your help and another beer run or two, I’ll be up for it.

You replaced both knock sensors? Had they gone bad?

Only one of them was bad, but while I had it all torn down I replaced the other one at the same time.
