Alternator Bolts
I am in the process of replacing the alternator in my 1999 RX-300, I did manage to get the old one out...but not before I broke the lower "adjusting bolt". Most of that bolt is still in the old alternator.
The top pivot bolt did come out in one piece, but has enough rust that it would probably be prudent to replace it. The "adjusting lock bolt" is still in the car and is pretty stuck on what Ii will call the "adjusting block". I may end up needing to cut that bolt to get it out.
Can anyone tell me what the specs/sizes are for each of these bolts? And what is a good source for them?
Thank You.

Why not the dealer?

This is so odd -- a similar thing happened to me last week. I was going to change the alternator belt. No big deal, I thought. The lock bolt for the adjusting bolt wasn't moving well. I finally got it to turn, but it sheared off inside the hole. I was afraid the engine would have to be pulled to get the bolt out. I wasn't able to do it myself, of course, but the dealer got it out without much problem.

Last Tuesday I replaced My Alternator, AC compressor and belts. Same thing happened to the adjusting bolt ( Red Circled in the picture ) jammed with the locking square block. I have to replaced with new bolt and cube for around 14 dollars from local Toyota dealer. If it not loose you have to cut it. Or If you could open the white/yellow arrow clamp then it will come out with the alternator easily.
