Noise from the front left axle & Fan problem
Dear all,
I'm new in this forum and I own a 1999 RX300 with 123k miles on it.
I bought it in April 2010 with 112k on it.
I have many issue with it.
I have already changed the timing belt and the water pump 4 months ago.
I have a leak in the A/C and the fan is blowing air only in the mid position (no air on the foot or on the windchill).
My major issue now is a bad noise/sound from the right front wheel above 35mph.
I'm pretty sure that's not the engine and it's probably a bearing.
Can you confirm my feeling and tell me if there is another possibility or something to check to be sure that is the bearing or something else.
How much does that cost to change a bearing?
Excuse me for my english... I'm French and I leave in US for 1y now.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your answer. To answer your question, the noise doesn't increase when i turn left. Yes may be the paddle break...
Any other idea or quotation?

The heat issue is probably a bad mode servo. Have a look at this thread

You're welcome EmmanuelR
Have a look at this one too. Its got good pictures and links for parts at parts.com
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...-cold-air.html
Note there is some confusion in the threads between the mode and the mix servos.
The mode servo changes the air direction (windshield, dash, floor).
The mix servo changes the hot/cold air mixture.
