Oil change and warranty?
The dealer put a 3k mile interval sticker on but I know this has to be too soon. What's the official recommended interval from Lexus?
P.s: I misplaced the owner's manual so can't look it up.

Tell the dealer that if s/he thinks you need more often oil changes due to the oil gelling problem then s/he should get the factory to re-emburse him, not you. Your purchase "contract" only recommends 7500 mile changes.
I would suggest you purchase a new set of owners manuals the cost savings from being able to show the dealer's service writer EXACTLY what's recommended vs what's not can be quite substantial.
At 60k it can be as much as $250 vs $1200.

I have a set in the car, where all service work is recorded, and a free second set on my desk.
Why do I get the impression that some of the respondents on this board have such a high level of resentment for Lexus that they, individually, have absolutely no interest in reading this offer for something free and passing it on to others?

Thanks for the info, on both counts.
Our dealership has a nice courtesy coffee bar with attendant but that's not enough motivation to pop in every 3k miles.
