Auto Lock?
Well, I took the plunge and bought the certified '99 RX300 I was looking at. However, I miss the feature on my old truck, as well as my mother's car which locks the doors automaticaly whenever the car is shifted from P to D. Is this feature available on this vehicle or not? The salesman did say there was a way to program it, but from what I hear on this forum, it is not available on the U.S. models. Can someone please clear this up for me?

If your salesman told you it was possible, stick it to the salesman. Go back to him tell him to make it happen. From what I've heard this feature is only available on the Japanese version of the RX aka the Toyota Harrier.
