Is my car battery OK?
Independent mechanic, with owner and certified Lexus mechanic on vacation, tested my battery with handheld tester during oil change and gave me a printout by Interstate Batteries saying:
"battery rating 640 CCA, tested 12.55V, 473 CCA, highly recommend battery replacement".
Costco battery is a little over 3 years old and works fine. There was some corrosion on battery terminals, which I have since cleaned off.
Should I ignore the report and wait for my clock to start resetting; or get Costco to replace battery? Costco has no provisions for testing batteries. I called them and they said they take your word for it that the battery is bad.

Agreed, wait until the the clock goes 1 a.m.
My 5.5 year old Optima Red Top 34/78 will do the 1 a.m. every so often, but then it still runs fine and despite temptation to change it out, I've resisted given $$$ for the moment.
