lowering springs for AWD
#2
well...since no one knows of a company that makes lowering springs for an AWD, my friend offered to cut my springs.
he said to buy a set of stock springs and he would be able to cut them for me. then i could just keep my originals springs as backup in case i ever want to go stock again.
so does anyone have had experience about cutting or compressing coil springs.
would it be safe to do this if i drive pretty rough (taking corners fast and acting like an a-hole).
thanks

KG/MM, H&R, Eibach, TTE and Intrax are some of the companies that make 99-03 RX300 AWD lowering springs. They all lower ~1.1-1.5". I had some Intrax springs in my garage and never got around to installing them, ended up eBaying them, which I regret now because I'm tuning my RX again. All the companies listed make quality products so you can't go wrong here, just a matter of preference.
P.S. Don't ride on cut springs.
