Default Retro-Fitting Heated Seats?

Hello Everyone~

I haven't posted in a while, and I have a question: Has anyone ever retro-fitted heated seats into their RX300? I searched some but couldn't come up with much. DOes anyone know if I'm already pre-wired for it? If so, it might just be a matter of finding used seats, the swithes and plug-n-play...

I doubt I'd be that lucky, so that leads to another question: Has anyone ever put aftermarket seat heaters in their RX?

TIA!

There are heated seat cushions available. Just plug into the cigarette lighter. Not the best solution but it is cheap (about $50-$100 each.)

Hope this helps.

Loosehead -- Please let us know what you find out about these guys. I went to the website and could not learn much. I sent them an email requesting pics of the install process and the heater controls. Have not heard back yet.

I emailed the guy and he sent me some pics that were missing from the website, under the products section. This is the button and the one of the heating pads. He also said the pads were approx. 11" by 11"

I'm still thinking about it. I spent some time reading the guy's ebay feedback, and he seem like a decent enough seller. I need to look at the seats a little closer and see what I'd be getting into in trying to un-cover them, install the pads, and get the covers back on. The electrical seems pretty straight forward. If I do decide to install these, I'll be sure and do a write-up. Heck, if it really works out, i may put these in my 4Runner, too.

Default Retrofit Heated Seats?

How much would a dealer charge to retrofit heated seats into a 1999 SC400? I want that factory look!
Thanx,
Jeff in way south Texas!

Lightbulb Hot Seat

This has been hashed over several times in the past few months. Try using the "Search" function at the top of this page. Using the "Advanced Search" function, look for "seat" "heat" in the RX forums. One of the better discussions can be found here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=100394

Good Luck!
