The new Mustang has come a long way. I understand this is a Lexus forum and the Mustang is a "cheaper" car and people like you look down their noses at them but that doesn't mean they aren't fun cars either. I respect diversity and other platforms. Would be very rare that someone is cross shopping a RC-F and a Mustang but never know. There's always someone faster I'm almost done with redoing build on my Supra it will be mid 7 at wheels. I know I won't be the fastest but that's ok.

So my guesstimate of 340-350 whp (mustang dyno) is on point since the 5.0 was neck to neck with him.
Based on his other video he got: Full exhaust, CAI, TB, Tune, Stock 3.31 gears. Wonder what else he added since then

The new Mustangs are pretty badass but I've driven some GT's and although yes, they are powerful and fun, they do not compare to the experience of the RC-F. The Mustangs are great for the performance and their price, even the GT350 is cheaper than the RC-F and get better performance (not much more though) but it lacks all the luxury and little gadgets. I respect all cars for what they are (well, almost all car, some are truly a joke lol) but I also think that if you are going to compare cars you have to do it based on its class 'cause even though they both would have similar performance specs, they are not in the same class. One is a muscle/sports car and the other is a luxury/sports car.
I too would take an RC-F over a mustang... I just did lol ... I looked at the options with the GT350 and GT350R a while ago and even some of the Roush options and they were nice and badass but it just didn't do it for me

But to be honest, you were starting to pull hard but you shut it down. Once you get into the triple digits, you would have put at least a bus length on it.

Lexus Test Driver
If you want speed, then Porsche turbo. 2.5 seconds 0-60, easy to tune, wonderful and comfortable daily driver, super reliable and this is the now dated 991.1. The new 991.2 turbo is going to be even more beastly.
The real world test for the new Porsche 991.2 S will likely be sub 3.0 secs as the 2017 base 991.2 is reportedly clocking 3.4. I use real work timing as Porscge mfg specs are always ultra conservative and much slower than cars actually are.
