I presently have the Bridgestone S-04 Pole Position and think it's a GREAT tire. The handling is very close to the PSS and they last longer.
My ISF has RCF base wheels and I have 245/35 and 295/30 mounted. This is my second set. When I still had my stock wheels I had 245/35 and 285/30.
An AS tire is just not right for this class of car IMHO.

The Bridgestone S-04 is a tire I have not tired, but have read good things about. The thing that kept me from trying them was that they are considerably heavier than the pss. For instance on the RCF the stock PSS are 24 pounds front and 27 pounds rear. The S-04's in the same size are 29 front and 31 rear! People pay big money to lower unsprung weight through lighter forged wheels and carbon ceramic brakes. Loosing 18 pounds for the price of tires is a great value!

same on Camaros, the come with the SS packages, I think the ZL-1 got GY Eagles at some point but they started with the PZeros.
worst tire ever, average life was 10K-12K miles. horrible in temps below 70°, horrible after sitting on cold cement all night as they would get a flat spot and cause vibration until they got warmed up.
