Had to say good bye to the F today, it was a fun almost 5 ownership...getting married soon and needed something bigger yet sporty, so I picked up a Porsche Macan S, good bye CL friends, hopefully I will be back when Lexus comes out with an RX F? lol

Would an "RX-F" be something different than the RX F-Sport they do have now? Forgive my ignorance if so.
But congratulations on that Porsche! Love those pipes man!

I'll never understand the:

"I'm getting married and need a bigger car" thing.

I got married, have kids, never gave up my sports cars. Wife has the family sedan, I get the sports car. When the family needs to go some place together we use her car. When the Wife and I go someplace together without the kids, we take my car.

Word.

Congratulations on the new car though.

I'm guessing not enough garage space.

Oh well to many things involving the lack of space within the car, trying to go to Sams Club shopping as a single guy is totally different than doing it when married hahaha. I actually wanted a Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro to stay in the Lexus/Toyota family but they are nowhere to be found and then found out it is a horrible car to lease or buy thru Toyota Financial. Got a super deal on the Macan and equity of the F that couldn't justify the hassle to look for the TRD.

LOL, you are having a family and you got a Macan? Sorry but that thing is tiny. You'll regret it later. Anyways congrats. I love Porsche.

The back seat is actually very useable. I have sat behind my wife driving, child seat in passenger side, and it very roomy. It is also decently wide feeling. Not sure about the S, but the turbos have decent power and I have seen guys running in mid 12s. Doesn't the S have similar 0-60 real world times as RCF? Don't look at factory specs. Porsche is always very conservative on those and real world is always quicker.

The Macan had a nice interior, a great AWD drive system, PDK shifter and Porsches IMO are just much higher quality than Lexus. Don't see a Macan as a step down at all. Judging by demand, many others agree.

Its comfortable for a small family, and has tons more room then an RCF. The Macan is tiny compared to its class, but if you want a horizontal transfer in performance nothing beats it. Lexus RX or NX would be a considerable downgrade.

Congrats OP
