Can you tell me more about this patch? My 10k service is almost due
and I would like to know if there is a GPS bug that I should have fixed now.

I honestly got a call from Lexus on another subject of interest (brake pad composition), and the patch for the nav system came up. I am not having any issues so I am leaving it alone in my car.
I understand that some folks are having their navigation systems freeze up and others are not able to sync their phones, etc.
Can someone with access to TSBs see if the patch is discussed there?

I have had 2 Nav freeze ups, 6 times were after startup the rear video camera image did not go away, iphone contact transfer fails to included "P" in a few phone number strings that have the 2 sec pauses and finally I get changes in trackpad to screen scale of finder swipe lengths (80% to 100% screen width)
This last issue can be seen if at different times in the day you put the cursor in on the left side of the monitor showing a map and put your finger left of the trackpad and then make a single finger slide to the right side without lifting your finger and doing a 2nd stroke. Some days the movement on the screen is 80% of the full screen width and some days/times 100% which is what you want. I have tried seeing if this changing distance is a function of having different accessories on but could not find anything. When the movement is at 80% or less you can not make big moves, like corner to corner, without a 2nd finger swipe so you get in the habit of making 2 or more swipes all the time and if you do this over the map in route you can often get a unwanted dig point and that means you get a unwanted map shift and you are then off route. Changing the feedback setting does not help the false dig problem or change the scale of the full swipe. I found that you can avoid the false dig points by keeping your finger down and avoiding raising it so you want the larger 100% screen move on 1 swipe. You can draw endless circles and not get false dig points with the finger down.
Some one else commented about having problems on bumpy roads with the trackpad. This is another example of the multi swipe or touch issue that can be avoided with single swipes keeping the finger down.
So I am hoping that the patch you mention will fix all or some of these issues.
