Seat Fan Noise
Is anyone else experiencing that the fans in the seat back seem to be very noisy? Maybe it is just that I can hear the fan all the time with the cooled seats on because I am short.
Do not get me wrong, I still would not get rid of this car over it. I love this thing...

There's actually a thread in the regular RC forum about how the back of the seat actually heats up while the seat fans are on. I've experienced it numerous times. I didn't have this problem with my IS.

I could totally see you Rryan snatching that bag out and putting it over the service guys head LOL. Our GX seat fans are so much stronger than the RCF. Agree with all the above, the seat ventilation system is awful.

Definitely not defective. They're just crap man, based on all others' comments. But even worse is the noise they make for the paltry air they move indeed. Very unLexus like. I was also surprised they remember your previous setting. THAT is what threw me off the first time I started the car, asking myself WTF is that freaking noise? Ha ha.

I tried turning up the AC and selecting output for the feet hoping to get
cool air under the seat and up into it but this failed to do much.
But I really like the seat design, it looks great and holds you in place perfectly on aggressive driving in turns.
So, I just turn up the AC to cool off.

Awesome demonstration! Well done. Twice a month a do a 7 hour drive and my lower back wishes the ventilation blew like the GX. I agree with loving the seat design as well. To be honest, they were one of the main reasons I chose it. I also remember the seat warmers kinda sucked as well.

Hey Rjmalm, that was an awesome test . At least this car blows air, even if little. Porsches are even worse, because they SUCK air, rather than blow it. No idea why. And yes, these are the best overall seats I've ever sat on, and I've had the pleasure to seat in a lot of expensive cars. Therefore, happy to put up with that inconvenience.
