Good to see members out there proving what the car will do instead of bench racing. If I were you...and I wish I'd thought about it when I took mine to the track...I'd just ignore the tree. The anxiety of trying to 'cut a good light' will cause you to botch the launch. Just focus on...and experiment with...what rpm you're holding and see what you get. The times won't be affected whatsoever with WHEN you take off. How you take off is infinitely more important, now...

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, I'll be going back to the strip in about two weeks! What about the second yellow light on top of the tree when staging, should I creep up slowly after the first yellow light or it doesn't matter?

This is kinda Disappointing though isn't it (shouldn't a stock RCF run these kind of times), didn't you add close to an Extra 40hp & 20lbs. of torque with just the Exhaust alone (not to mention the lighter wheels & some other updates)?

Weather and elevation plays a big part.

Keep in mind, the 08 IS F with I/H/E ran a 12.6 that same night too.
