F-Sport Performance Exhaust Demo
#2
A couple of threads are asking about the FSport Performance Exhaust I had installed, so I thought I'd bring everything I know into one area.

Details:
I've already talked about how I love the sound, feel and increased performance (now at about 311hp). Here are some refresher pics of the upgrade starting with the "off the lot" look:
Cost:
It's a two-piece kit. The exhaust will run you on average $1500, with the diffuser being an additional $200. Of course, add tax and labor. My entire purchase and install was from my Lexus dealer and took about a day.
Hope this has been helpful! I think it's a great investment.

Well, quiet is relative. It's going to sound different stationary as opposed to moving, inside as opposed to outside. Personally, I would classify it as a smooth rather than an aggressive, throaty sound. It's pleasant without being obnoxious. It purrs, rather than growls... ok, you get the point.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Check out the sounds of the exhaust in these videos on the IS350:

So is this exhaust an "official" dealer installed option? In other words, this will not void the warranty, correct? You may not know the answer to this, but if this is a dealer installed option, could I not have it installed on my leased vehicle?
Thanks for any tips as I generally don't do much in tuning or add-ons, but this exhaust intrigues me.

I'll try and get that done ASAP.
Removing the bumper cover for the new diffuser is what I'd be writing up. That is the tricky part of the swap.
The exhaust kit is a mirror image of the factory rear exhaust. Just unbolt and swap. Spray WD40 in the rubber hangers and they will wiggle right off !

The two bolts should be it... They are not connected to the bumper..
So if I'm understanding this right.. The RC 350 uses the same FSport accessory exhaust as the IS350..???
Cause if that's the case, our axle back will work perfectly on the RC 350 platform
