Is there a reason why no one touches the internals of the engine?

Is there a reason why no one touches the internals of the engine?
I haven't researched it, but why doesn't anyone have a upgraded cam for the is350? or why not forged internals? is it not worth it or is it too hard to do.. just wondering. I'm really wondering about why i don't see anything about a cam for our car.

There are several reasons.
1. The biggest reason is that the market is miniscule.
2. DI engines aren't well understood by the aftermarket
3. The engine has 11.8:1 compression ratio (there isn't much sense in going higher, see previous and next point for why no-one makes lower CR pistons)
4. Until recently there was no good way to tune big engine changes
5. With all of the above, there isn't any need for forged internals, no-one (who is willing to share) knows what the limits of the stock hardware is.
