Smile Throaty exhaust set up

Hi I wanted to get an exhaust system for my is, I'm not looking more for a throaty sound rather than a deep sound. I want it to sound clean no raspy tinny sound. Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance!

I personally can barely tell the difference from the F sport exhaust and stock. The Ark exhaust I know has a good throaty, mildly deep sound to it. Also selling the full Ark cat back if interested.

Ark and JoeZ are real throaty. Some even report drone but obviously that's based on personal sensitivity.

It will also make a different if you want cat back or axle back, I personally love my cat back Invidia

I was actually looking at the invidia q300 axleback. I was thinking about getting aftermarket resonators because I had an aftermarket resonator on my 2is w f sport exhaust and I was really happy with the sound. How is the drone with the invidia midpipe?

Invidia axle back is one of the quietest on the market along with F sport. The cat back I think has a great sound. Not V8 deep but almost Infiniti-like.

I personally don't detect very much drone at all, it also helps to have an 8 speed as it always wants to stay in high gear, low rpm. But in Sport mode, it is wide open on sound

I've had a Tanabe medallion installed on my 3IS for over 2 weeks now and I love it. not too loud but def hear the throaty sound when I want to and the quality is amazing.

I'm happy with my Magnaflow BUT, JoeZ is smoother, deeper, more refined sounding.

I personally like the Invidia Q300. I like the slightly higher pitch vs the Joe Z. I also got a better deal on the Invidia. Invidia is pretty quiet at low RPM

Some videos on youtube are quite accurate, so check out both.

Mine sounds kinda like this but slightly deeper, probably because of the mic:

Buy a V8 or boost it. V6 engines have a distinctive sound, but it's not throaty.
