Well, i just put the Borla Exhaust on about two weeks ago and the sound is perfect... It has the perfect amount of rumble outside and inside the cabin...

How loud is the SRT intake kit and was it easy to install.... How is the cabin noise with windows rolled up etc... Just thinking about this because this might be my next mod... With a 27 HP increase your sure to feel the difference.....

The SRT intake is LOUD when you step on it. Once in a while you can hear it while driving normally, but it is just an air hissing noise. It is a great mod, you will freak after installing it!
Installing the module is tricky as it requires splicing wires in the engines main computer. It was not a problem for me.
Good Luck!

I am sure you will have some increase, but in order to get the most out an intake system, you need to do some fine tuning. piggy back ecu that are preset are ok but if you have the time, patience and money then S-AFC or something like it to control injectors would be better. The S-AFC is not a standalone FMU (fuel management unit) it is a piggy back but at least you can adjust it for your car.

I have tried the old SRT ECU with the Tom's drop in air filter and it felt great. It was better than the SRT intake and the "old" (not "Race") ECU. The SRT intake with their race ECU felt the best as far as intake/nonadjustable ECU combination

BTW I have an intake and Race ECU for sale in the classified section
