2004 IS 300- A/C Problems
My A/C is not functioning correctly. When I have it on recirculate with A/C 'on', and power switch turned to any of the outputs: Auto, Low, Med, Hi, no air flow comes out to cool down the cabin. I can hear the A/C trying to kick on to work, but no air flow.
When the fresh air vent is on with A/C 'on', and the power switch is turned to any of the outputs, some cooled air will flow out into the cabin but only if my car is in motion, once I get to a stop, no more air flow. The air output seems to be only coming through the vents at one speed while the car is in motion, and it doesnt matter what output setting I have it on.
When the fresh air vent is used without the A/C 'on', the air vent works letting fresh air into the cabin and even when I turn the temperature dial to heat up my car, the temperature works just fine. However, the power (auto, low, med hi) switch does not work when using the fresh air vent.
I replaced my cabin air filter about a month ago and that hasn't changed anything with the A/C unit.
Does anyone know what the problem could be?
Thanks for any recommendations/suggestions.
