I use a visor slide on type of smelly bought from Bath and Body Works. It looks better than the tree IMO and smells great. They have a bunch of smells but they're expensive.

I dont use air fresheners in any car of mine. I dont think they smell good and are usually to strong. If you keep the car clean then there is no reason to. My 06 Z06 still smells new as does my 07 TL-S. The 00 ES300 I just bought has a nice clean leather smell to it and again, would never put an air freshener in it.
Just my 2 cents :-)

I agree. - I don't get the "air freshener" thing. I just don't see the need. Unless you keep old sandwiches under the seats, or have 20 years of beer farts in the seats, I just don't see how anyone could live with those smelly things....

I don't use air fresheners either since my cars usually don't have a smell. I do want an air freshener that ACTUALLY SMELLS LIKE A NEW CAR. I've tried so many in the past and not a single one smelled like a new car, so I quit using them. Are there any that actually have the new car smell?

Same here I don't really use air freshners as well but I was at Kragen/O'Reilly Auto parts this morning and they had a clearance sale and there was a gentleman who bought a 6 pack of the tree air freshners for .08 cents. I was able to buy a single pack for .08 cents. The air freshner I got smelled good and I was very happy with my purchase...
