I did the Aristo JZS161 swap but USDM driveshaft won't fit
I just did this swap on my 2000 GS300 but I'm having a issue with the stock USDM driveshaft fitting the aristo 4speed tranny. What driveshaft should I use? I tried searching and some guys said they used the stock driveshaft no problems & some say it don't fit. *

I never tried to use the stock drive shaft. I used the first section of the Aristo shaft mated to the stock GS300 drive shaft. Where you can get one I do not know I had a front clip and it came with it.

I knew this was gonna happen thats why you dont listen to people who dont know what they are talking about your gonna need to get your hands on the aristo driveshaft and make sure it has the yoke. I cosign what burton said if you want to locate one i'll help you.

There was a member in North Carolina that had one posted in the classifieds for $75 a couple months back I was gonna buy it but decided to go manual swap instead and I need a custom shaft made for that.. Might search it up and maybe there is a chance it didn't sell and he still has it..

Here's the link, no public bite's on the thread so you may be in luck. Good price and only 2 states away so shipping might not be to bad.

Actually, if you feel like trying. I've never tried yet so I can't confirm it will work, but it's free and it might work for you. Swap the output flange on the GS300 A650E transmission with the Aristo A340E. This trick works on the rear diff(when using a Supra diff on a GS300) so it might work on the transmission. Again, just a theory and not 100% it will work. Maybe someone here can confirm.
I do have them both and I'll test it out when I have time.
