HKS Hi Power Exhaust and Joe Z intake installed!!
Finally took the day off and got the goods installed. Install went without a glitch, drove the car around a bit, and I'm loving that 600+horsepower increase!! (Just kiddin..)
Car is running well and I'm sure needs some miles driven to get everything up to snuff with the ECU. The HKS is made nicely and is LOUD... HAHAHA But I like it so far. Silencers will be here for that soon to reduce the in car noise. It does sound a bit different then all the videos I've checked out Not quite that raspy "Z" kinda sound I was looking for. Maybe I gotta delete the stock resonator.
Other than that My first real mods are complete.. Now onto the whole wheel and tire dilemma!!

Thanks guys, LOL yea the HKS will take some getting used to. However, I planned well and have a F-Sport Exhaust new in the box just in case. I understand your points about the IS not sounding like a Z, I think what I was trying to say was I didn't realize the HKS would have such low end rumble. I thought it would have more of a midrange type of tone like a Z exhaust. It's cool though. I do want to try the silencers, to help with the in-cabin drone. Do these exhausts have any break-in period where the sound might change?

it took me 6 months to "break-in" my Wald exhaust LOL
it sounds week the moment I put it on
and then I drove for 25 miles, and I noticed it was getting LOUDER and DEEPER
and I thought that was it...
and 6 months later..it's EVEN SEXIER
so to answer to your question,,it might take some time for your exhaust to break in

Thanks man!! Got about 60 miles on the stuff now. Car seems to feel a tad more crisper in the throttle. I think the silencers will be my friend though, inside the car drone is a bit loud for me at 2-3000rpm. Now I just need some real Wheels and Tires so I can lose the stock 17" cause they just look goofy on this car, compared to the sexy aggressive wheels I've seen up here!
