Also an addon..
Get an SUV jack so you can tilt the car more..to let more fluid out.
How does the car feel now after the switch to Mobil 1 synthetic ATF?

Ah, I hate smooth shifts. I like the shifts to be precise, quick, and firm. My new transmission is going to snap heads back on every shift

I like those headsnapping shifts but my 1st gear has a jolt sometimes? Is it the mounts?

I'll just stick with the Amsoil for my next flush and fill... I've been using Mobil1 ATF in my power steering system since I got the car however.

Its the oil pan that is behind the motor. Get under the car from the side and the tranny fluid pan is right there, u can't miss it. Good luck.

Here's a transmission DIY link

If the bolt's head is imprinted with "TIV" (Type IV) that's the transmission drain bolt

That's the same combination I have been using in my RX300. Works great.

You are able to mix them. I had to do that with my RX300's tranny and Type-IV fluid.
