Back to K&N FIPK for GS430

As long as I'm on the topic, I have a few questions about the FIPK for those who have it. My interest has been renewed by putting Dinan stage 2 performance software and CAI on my wife's BMW Z3. The intake has given that car a wicked SNARL in the mid-to-high RPM range that is absolutely intoxicating! I started thinking that if I could get something similar out of my GS, that's be great! So how does the FIPK change the sound of the GS4? Is the sound change obnoxious or just a nice enhancement to the engine's normal sound? Is the sound change across the entire rev range or only when you're really pushing the engine? VERY important question: does the FIPK have any whistling or is it just a SNARL or GROWL?
Thanks in advance for any info!

Scott,
At this time we have not released a performance intake kit for your vehicle. If you'd like to be notified if/when a kit is released for your vehicle, please visit our "product request" page at www.knfilterchargers.com/products_needed/ and take a minute and fill out the form. You will be notified via E-mail when a product is released. (The system will automatically send you an e-mail with all current products available or confirmation that we do not have what you are looking for, and future e-mails will be sent if new products become available in the future).
Thanks for writing,

www.rodmillenstore.com
phone 1-714-847-2158
It says it is $335 plus shipping
worth it since you can clean the filter over and over stock filter 20-50
plus the car sounds better.

I still have my Injen intake (posted on here 12 years ago.) I'm sure it needs a new filter, well more for looks than anything else, but if you're in Hawaii, shipping would be nuts. If you just want to use the existing intake and get a new panel filter, I would measure it because it might be a common Toyota size. I would email K&N. . I'm pretty sure the panel filters are the same across the 98 - 2004/5 timeframe.

Other than that, Injen, HPS and SRT are the only ones I can think of and I wouldn't do business with SRT under any circumstance. I don't know of anyone using the HPS, but the Injen is pretty well-liked from those who have it.

Hey RocketSlug

Thanks man

Do you still have your RMM Intake for sale for a 2003 gs430? If so do you have pictures and what would shipping be to Canada?
Thanks
