WR doesn't have intake for GS430 yet. The one on Wei's car is a prototype.
RMM doesn't have the intake for GS430 either. I called them about 2 weeks ago.
RS Akimoto doesn't have the intake for GS430. I called them before.
Same thing with Injen, no luck.
The only one you can buy is SRT's package. However, you need to remove the engine cover with SRT's intake. Unless you cut off a part of the engine cover which I'm not willing to do so.

I was planning to have Area 51 fabricate one for me but with forced induction, that intake would be useless. Trust me, I will get forced induction soon or later.

noise won't be a factor for you w/ the intake with the intake when u find it...its the exaust that can get loud.

Really? The guy told me that we don't have anything for GS430 and he has no idea when Injen will release the intake. Strange. Where did you get it? How much did you pay? Does any heat shield or airbox come with the intake?

How is your Injen Intake?I am also looking for one for my GS430 2001,
How does it fit ? do you have to do any modification or just plug n play?
do you have remove the engine cover ?
Do you notice any performance gain ? how much?

Jimmy,

If you notice the date of the thread you found (THANK YOU for using the search engine ) it's closing in on two years old. I can't recall if GSracerRY is still active here, you might have better luck PM'ing him or trying to use the email button.

Here is the webpage at Injen for Toyota/Lexus:
http://www.injen.com/toyota.html
Injen provides some test results at this webpage(only for SC300 and IS300):
http://www.injen.com/testing.html
Performance gain for intake alone usually occurs at higher RPM.

Default injen intake

sup jimmy...i'm still active here...more of a browser than a poster though. any how, i liked the injen intake, but i will no longer be using mine due to my special project that is almost complete. the gain on the intake was mostly noticable when u would punch the gas from the 60 mph to 80 mph range. the sound of the intake was good too...it was noticable, but not tooo loud. have u purchased one already? if ur interested maybe we could work something out. let me know if ur interested.

My actual car (01 gs430) is posted on the Injen site (I won't sue them for using the photo since I uploaded it here first.) Volume, up. HP, up (confirmed on this site.)
The SRT intake only makes more power if you do the ECU mod as well, otherwise the test on this site showed the SRT to be the worst, which makes me ask the question "Is the Injen intake with the SRT ECU the killer combo?"
K&N of course now makes a kit as well. There are a LOT of kits. . .I don't know what these earlier posts are about.

Are you saying that K&N has a FIPK for the GS430 now? I can only find the following on their Web site:

2001 LEXUS GS430 AUTO 4.3L V8 F/I 33-2220 Air Filter All
2001 LEXUS GS430 AUTO 4.3L V8 F/I HP-1002 Oil Filter All

Yes, they do. There were pictures on this very site before. K&N's website is not very updated.

Yes, they have. According to the big dyno test posted months ago on this site, without the ECU, the results were Injen, followed by Weapon-R, then SRT. The ECU is SRT's strength, although they have redesigned the intake since the first model.

I like my Injen. Looks great, sounds great, and its easy to install and the least expensive. I probably would have also looked at the K&N had it been available in 2002.
