Default Borla Exhaust now on their site

http://www.borla.com/applications/lo...System/140189/

Still missing any information, says its Cat back but does that mean its a full exhaust or a partial?

$1299 too - I definitely want one if its a full exhaust, going to check with their customer support.

why the hell don't these companies post pics of their products. I mean not only would it build anticipation prior to releasing the product, but how are you supposed to know if you want it if you cant even see a pic. This is worthless without pics. Good find however.

Cat-back exhausts are exactly that: from the catalytic converter to air. Mufflers, pipes, tips, everything.

Problem is there are 2 sets of cats on an ISX50 so it could be a partial exhaust if its from the 2nd set of cats, not the cats at the headers.

At least one of our CL vendors (TM Engineering) carries Borla. If there is enough interest after this comes out I'll approach Todd to see if they will do a group buy.

Yeah, I really don't understand the marketing departments at a lot of these places (excluding Tanabe).

If my company rolled out a new exhaust system for a car, I would find all of the message boards for that car, let folks know about it, and then provide all the specs, dynos, pictures, and videos that people asked for. Seems pretty basic to me.

there is a picture on the website: here. I just need to hear what it sounds like and a dyno chart would be very nice.

That's new, wasn't up earlier this morning.

Talked to a Borla rep at about Noon eastern today, didn't know too much but it seems like:
- the exhaust does not remove any cats, so its not a full pipe
- 5-7% HP gain alleged
- changes to a deeper exhaust note but not too much

Rep was very very uncertain however, its so new that it seems they haven't really spread the information to their sales/customer reps yet.

I'm probably going to take the plunge anyways, I like the design, its aggressive.

5-7% HP or 5-7 HP? The latter sounds more realistic.
