Default All SC400 owners- why do you change your mufflers?

The SC V-8 is in the top 3 BEST SOUNDING factory exhaust notes in the WORLD. Funny thing is, it doesnt matter how old or beat up a SC I hear, they all have that burble. I cannot understand why you guys change your exhaust, you already have the sound that the aftermarket exhausts are trying to emulate.

when I go F.I., then I may change it to support the power. Other than that, I love the sound it makes once warmed up...yes, you can hear it if you listen closely at a stop

I'm not trying to argue, I'm just curious as to where you heard that it's listed as one of the 3 best sounding stock v8s. What were the others??? It is a sexy sound, almost exotic. But, a little to hush hush IMO.

I hear my intake over my exhaust.....thats why I want to change my exhaust. Plus, the cats are a bit restrictive, and I plan on going with a S/C so opening up the exhaust is a must.

Where did you hear that our V-8 is a popular exhaust?

You have to play close attention to hear the exhaust, so some like to have the sound more aggressive......like any sound periodl!!! Its just too damn quiet.

No prob man, I should have put IMO, before that 3 best thing. The part I love about those exhausts are they're super quiet when cruisin, but they have this constant burble thats sooooo nice. Plus when you step on them they sound great. I have never heard one that sounded as good as stock!! (then again, I've only heard 1 or 2)

Didnt mean to upset anyone, just my plain jane style I guess!!

It's cool D, they have a very sophisticated sound. I can always hear a distant exhaust melody being played while cruising, but rarely feel the engine, very cool.
